Still agreat place for electronics. Geek squad us awesome.
was sent to this Best Buy location by the Mississippi store, after being told an exchange was possible for a PS5 disc game (a gift) to the digital version, as long as it was the same game.
After driving 20–30 minutes to the Salida location, I spoke directly with the general manager, who told me the exchange was not possible at all. When I explained what the Mississippi store had told me, she made a phone call and then came back and said “no one said that.” which i replied with “what am i supposed to do with this” and she replied with “try gamestop.” which then i left.
At that point, I was left stuck with a game I cannot use, after being sent here based on information that was later denied. Regardless of internal policy, denying what was previously stated and offering no solution or accountability is unacceptable customer service.
This situation could have been resolved with clear communication or a courtesy exception. Instead, I wasted time and gas and left frustrated.
Very disappointing experience.

Went in to see the TV "Sale" and found a 200% markup followed by a 50% sale. The LG C5s were 50% off with financing available and I still walked away because $1700 for a years old product is absurd. I wasn't alone because there were at least 30 units unsold on the floor still on the last day of this winter "Sale". Absolutely lost the plot and I'm thinking Best Buy is just a real estate company dressed up as a tech supplier.
