I had to track down the help I needed and the person seemed as if they had a rough day or didn’t like having to help me. They handed me what I think I needed and asked if I needed anything else. I said no and they walked away. When I got home with the item I realized that the box had been opened and the item was removed and put back. Pretty slick….. I would not have purchased it but it’s my own fault for not doing my due diligence.

IF I COULD GIVE NO STARS I WOULD HORRIBLE PLACE I WALK IN ASK WHERE CAN I SCH A DASH CAM INSTALL THE REPS TELLS ME TO GO TO THE END OF THE STORE WALK OVER AND ITS JUST DASH CAMS IM NOT LOOKING TO BUY ONE SO I THOUGHT THATS OK ILL JUST TRY THE GEEK SQUAD DESK REP AT THE DESK TELLS ME FLOOR SLAES REPS AT THE BACK OF THE STORE HANDLE THE INSTALL SO I WALK BACK OVER. THESE CHUMPS ARE SITTING THERE HAVING A CONVO THEY WALK UP AFTER 5 MIN THEN ASK IF I NEED ANYTHING I ONCE AGAIN ASK IS THERE ANYWAY I CAN SCH AN APPT FOR A DASH CAM INSTALL THE REP SAYS ME OR THIS OTHER GUY WHO WAS JUST STANDING THERE CANT TAKE THE ORDER HE THEN PROCEEDS TO RAIDO SOMEONE FROM ACROSS THE STORE TO TRY AND GET ME SCH BUT THERE IS JUST A BUNCH KF REPS AT THE ENTRY DOOR LAUGHING AND JOKING THIS BEST BUY IS A JOKE NO WONDER PEOPLE SHOP ONLINE

I had booked an appointment for an iPhone battery change on their scheduling portal for 05:40 PM on a Saturday. I came on time for my appointment and the geek squad lady was unhappy because I came "too close" to closing time. The battery replacement took about 1.5 hours, and during this time, she reminded me a total of 2 times, how I came too close to closing time, and that next time, I should book a appointment several hours before closing time. Mind you, the store closes at 8PM, and at the end I still got my phone back with the battery changed, about 30 minutes before closing time. Whoever manages the Geek Squad of this store, please coach your employees about how if a customer comes in for a "scheduled" appointment, it is not the employee's place to lecture the customer on how it is "too close to closing time". And if a 0540 PM appointment to change an iPhone battery is too close to 8PM, 1. Your team is too slow, and 2. You need to update your scheduling software to not let customers book an appointment at 0540 PM. Maybe set the cut-off at 2 PM, to allow your slow, entitled employees to get a full 6 hours to change an iPhone battery. Case ID: 102517072661.
