They put shelf tags up with lower prices than they are actually selling for. A time or two might be written off as a mistake but it seems pervasive here.
I attempted to buy a laptop needed for job offer. No help available in the area because the 1 customer service representative was helping a customer. That was fine, I have been a customer representative, so I found the laptop I wanted. Found the SKU and found the stock placement.
No check out lines I was informed, customer service would process the sale. All good so far.
When my turn came to purchase the product, problems ensued. Am I paying with a debit card? Yes I reply. Then a brief sales pitch for something. No thank you I reply. He reiterates the sales pitch, again I politely reply No thank you. He then states that I could save money off of this order and implies that I should welcome and agree to this. I had already politely said no thank you twice. No my tea kettle temper is beginning to boil. So I said distinctly and loudly, NO THANK YOU. He then went into to his sales pitch one more time. I said he could keep his product and left, making sure that I related the lost sale to the door man due to forced sales pitch.
Will NEVER go to Best Buy again. I would recommend that nobody else go there either if this is thier company policy.
Not the worst best buy but by far not the best. Half the time we go they don't have what we looking for and say to order it online. What's the point of having a store than? They act like your going in there to steal and will follow you around asking over 5 times if you need help after being in there for only 3 minutes. When you do need help there is no one around or you have to wait for them to stop talking to each other before being noticed. They never have any checks out open you have to go wait at customer service to purchase anything and than that takes forever because once again they talking to each other not paying attention and when they do notice you get super rude because they have to do their job. So in reality if I could give zero stars I would.
Went with a friend that was buying a Go-Pro camera. Wound up with my first name brand Go-Pro camera myself.
