I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the customer service I received at the Littleton/Lakewood Best Buy location regarding a recent issue with my Verizon phone. Approximately four and a half months ago, I purchased my phone from this location and recently noticed a crack on the screen. When I visited Best Buy for assistance, the Verizon staff directed me to the Geek Squad. After waiting for over an hour, I was informed by the Geek Squad that they had lost my warranty and needed to send me back to the Verizon area. This back-and-forth took over an hour of my time, during which I observed that there was only one person working in the Geek Squad area, who seemed unfamiliar with their responsibilities, while several employees stood around without offering assistance. I was finally instructed to go to the actual Verizon store. Eventually, at the Verizon store, it took less than two minutes for the staff to determine that the only issue was the screen protector, not the actual screen. The Verizon staff also verified that our protection plan would cover any problems with the phone. This experience at Best Buy was frustrating and time-consuming, and unfortunately, it has led me to decide that I will not return to this location or purchase a phone from Best Buy in the future!
