Bought a tv, scheduled a delivery a install date almost a week out. Was assured by the employee that after 4:30pm would not be an issue, that the techs work until seven. Received a text the day before stating that they would be there from 11:30-3:30. Spend a half hour with customer service trying to get them to honor what they said and what they put in their system notes. They refused to do anything to make it right. Wouldn't even try to get their for another five days. Ended up canceling the order and they lost a customer. Corporate Best Buy only caring about the sales with no follow through and zero customer service (who couldn't predict that?)

Do NOT trust overnight shipping claims from Best Buy. I could have driven to the store to pick up my order but the website said I could have it delivered next day for free so I chose that option.
However Best Buy outsources delivery to Roadie, and their customer service is TERRIBLE. I also tried to contact Best Buy about the issue but they were NO HELP. They just passed the buck and said Roadie had to resolve the issue. Very disappointed!! I will no longer be purchase anything from Best Buy.
Update: I appreciate that Best Buy wants to look into this but I already reached out to their chat support before ever posting a review.

I spoke with a Geek Squad employee on November 29, 2025, around 2:20 p.m. He barely acknowledged me when I sat down. When he did acknowledge me, he referred to me as a “boss” in a condescending manner and seemed to be preoccupied with his smartphone. I was looking for expert help for my product, and it seemed as if he wanted to be elsewhere.
Placed an order for pickup - quoted 1hr, order was never processed on their end (even though my card was charged). Run around by staff and hotline staff, don't shop best buy. Cancelled order, not worth it.
