Why even buy the geek squad membership. For 200$ you can make an appointment and wait an hour every time whether you’re picking up or dropping off. Literally a waste of your time if you can pay to drop it anywhere else. This is only good if you have unlimited time to wait for them and the 1 poor guy who works there in the mornings. Anyways I wrote this after my third time coming and waiting an hour just to grab my computer for pickup. It’s funny watching every other employee pf Best Buy walk into the geek squad with their head down to make sure they don’t look at anyone Incase they need help…it’s ok bros we know only 1 person can do tech stuff at a time at Best Buy.

I would give a negative 5 star if allowed. This morning 4/20/26, I arrived at the store at 9:45 and waited until 10:00 opening. All I needed was an iPhone screen protector and have it installed. Entering the store there was a group of at least 10 employees shooting the shit, dressed in black. They advised they were not employees but involved in the construction. One green-haired girl told me to stand by the iPhone accessories and she would get me assistance. A young man appeared still in the process of putting his ear buds in his ear, wearing skin tight (literally) blue jeans. He had white substance above his lip — either butter or his Starbucks drink. I should have told him but chose not to because of his attitude. He got the screen protector off the shelf, and began making a ticket asking my phone number and entering it. At the same time, another associate came up to him telling him another customer was waiting and as soon as he finished with me, to go and assist them. At that point, he hands me the box and tells me to go to Customer Service for them to put the screen saver on my phone. I walk to Customer Service, wait 5 minutes when the associate who told the first guy someone was waiting came up to Customer Service. He told me that Customer Service doesn’t replace the screen saver and I needed to go to GeekSquad. Two customers with laptops were being assisted by two associates. Sitting there for 25 minutes, with the only acknowledgement, being to sit in the provided chairs, and after being in the “uncrowded” store for now close to 45 minutes, I got up and placed the screen saver on one of the GeekSquad’s counter and turned and began walking away. Again, not one acknowledgment or apology. Leaving the store, still no acknowledgement that I was there or leaving. LAST TIME I WILL EVER STEP FOOT IN YOUR STORE! 😡😡😡

Corporate should have closed the store years ago. The store has gotten so desperate to hit numbers. They are doing everything in a deceptive way to keep numbers of float. Close the store.
