I worked with Bryan Herrera, who helped me select components for a new home theater system. He did a great job demoing different components and answering all my questions. He was a pleasure to work with, and all my gear has worked beautifully together. I highly recommend this store and Bryan.
Thanks to the awesome guy in the automotive service area who fixed my car radio promptly by replacing the fuse. And didn’t charge me anything. I really appreciate it.
My partner and myself went to look for a new TV for our living room. We walked thoroughly through the area into the clearance section. We found a TV without a price so I had to ask for help...to be helped by someone else. About 5min later, a (disheveled) young man appeared. I asked him "Hey, I'm just wondering how much you want for this TV, it doesn't say...". Although he scanned it, it wasn't "working" so he walked back to some random area to figure out the price, so when he came back, he said "yeah, this TV is $3200..." At first I was like "this must be wrong" so I politely said "$3200!? Are you sure ? It's a 65" TV, no box, dirty.. " Then, I was informed by him that "Well, the TV was originally $7k+! It's a great deal you're getting 2k off a 7k TV!"
Mind you this is prices not resolutions... I will admit I laughed at the price he was saying bc I didn't see a single TV for more than $250 in the area of clearance TV's, I also cannot recall a TV more expensive than $4-$5k in the whole store.
I said "Thank you for checking but that price is kinda just disrespectful based on its condition, no box, no wires, no warranty..."
Then I got a taste of this kid's true character and man was it UGLY... I felt like he was "fighting" me about the TV. When he wouldn't stop lecturing me about this amazing deal I asked him "okay well where is that $7k TV new?" He said something like "okay, I'll find someone to help you... " Nobody said a word until we left and the security guard said " have a nice day".
I take my reviews very seriously. I don't write a negative review unless I feel like it's truly warranted.
I guess just be careful when shopping at best buy bc you might buy a TV for $4k when it actually retails for $1100...
