Do not purchase the Best Buy total tech package… absolute rip off. I made this mistake as it included ‘professional installation’ and it provides 24/7 support. But I learned this is basic over the phone troubleshooting. If you need someone to come out to you, it’s weeks before they can and weeks more if they have to order a part, and only if I pay for the appointment ($103 non-refundable) upfront. My mistake for thinking there would be urgent response or priority scheduling. Best Buy won’t hesitate to take the money for the tech package, but it doesn’t seem like the staffed the Geek Squad properly to urgently respond to customers who have issues with their products.

I bought a new washer in and out in 30 minutes and the service was great!
I just wanted to share my experience today with a Geek Squad member by the name of Kyle. My Mother is a Veteran who lost her support dog a few weeks ago. I was determined to transfer a video image of the dog growing wings and flying away onto a digital device. Kyle was hands down, the most knowledgeable and efficient Rep that I have ever encountered at that location which I would’ve rated a 1 on a scale of 1-10 in the past Today, Kyle proved me wrong and literally brought me to tears as he successfully transcribed the image My Mother and family are forever grateful! The world needs more Kyles…#bluebutterflyrealty🦋
