Ordered three Samsung kitchen appliances . Fridge, dishwasher and a range. Not cheap by any means. Was told the delivery would be delayed a few weeks for the range so we pushed it out about 4 weeks to ensure all would be delivered together. Had to pay ridicules fees for delivery, installation and haul away since I was going to be out of town and my wife wanted them sooner rather than later. Then we got pumped for all the extra fluff that the salesman obviously made a commission on not once but several times. Then came loads of emails, text messages and repeated phone calls. They were not able to deliver them together so the delivery was going to be split. What a waste of time. And a final surprise they did not deliver the stove and could not tell us when it would be delivered. On top of that they wanted to charge us an extra 160 dollars to install the dishwasher since it was hardwired and they left the refrigerator and the dishwasher on extension cords since they could not plug either of them in. There was no advance notice that the stove would not be delivered either. A clown show experience of complete disorganization and an experience you would not want to repeat. We still do not have our stove even though they are available from other vendors just blocks away.
I don't particularly like going to Best buy unless there is a specific item I'm in need of. The staff were very helpful.
Be warned if you do business with their 3rd party vendors inside the store - specifically the cell phone 3rd party folks. The local Best Buy store personnel are not properly trained to deal with this relationship and as well as the 3rd party cell phone personnel do not inform the buyer of all details. And Best Buy personnel avoid trying to help. 4 visits to the store during the debacle. While it was mostly the 3rd party but Best Buy personnel did fail too. No ownership of the store for their personnel or the activities within their store.
Normally this Best Buy has been good and weve found some deals. Our recent experience, I was attempting to just find some prices for an open box Monitor, Customer Service wouldn't help us and directed me to find someone else on the floor. I went to a new person, who said they would call someone to help us. 20 minutes later no one even came near us or see if we needed help. Meanwhile, I saw about a dozen employees hanging out and chatting all through out the store. My family and I walked out 10 minutes later. Disappointed that our business wasnt valued and well probably just order something online now
