I'm sorry, but I find this store chain lacking good service, high prices on many items, and you have to beg someone to help you.
Open box purchases are so unreliable now. The last three I tried were complete let downs. They were all damaged.
Last night I bought an open box laptop online that was supposed to be rated 'excellent'. Best Buys website lists 'excellect' as:
'Products in Excellent condition look brand new — with no physical flaws, scratches or scuffs — and include all original parts and accessories (or a suitable replacement). The product will be in its original box (or a suitable replacement). Products in Excellent condition can be found in Best Buy stores and online.'
I had thought I would have better luck going to pick up the item locally, so I went to the Clearwater store, but then this happened:
The back of the laptop had a dent that looked like someone took a screwdriver to the back panel and hit it with a hammer. The divot was easily 1/4" deep, but probably more. There is no way I was going to take a chance on the mobo not being damaged.
Fortunately I inspected it while I was still in the store parking lot, so three minutes after I picket it up I was in the line returning it. What a waste of my time.
Best Buy used to be so much better than this. So dissappointing.

Why have a brick and morter? I was shoping for a laptop computer at the Tyrone location. The staff was amazing answered all my questions. Except they did not have the computer I wanted. They told me it was at the clearwater location. I could purchase the computer there then pick it up in clearwater. I did not have the time to drive over to the clearwater store that day. I just planed on going another day. Next day Monday 02/03/2025 I drove 30 min out of my way to buy a computer that was in stock at this location. I walk in find the computer wait about ten minutes. I go to the front ask for assistance. I was told to go wait by the computer checkout. I waited there 10 more minutes. Mean while I see multiple people come and go at the customer service. I wait in line at the customer service for about 5 more minutes. I ask if they can grab the computer so I can check out. The gentleman tells me he's sorry I would have to wait then helps the people behind me the had walked in the store 2 min. Prior. Needless to say I waited in the store 35 minutes and left without spending any money at this bestbuy store. I will not spend any money at any best buy store again. Thank you clearwater store!

I bought a 65 inch tv which was great it wasn’t ready like it was supposed to be but the CSR was nice what I did not care for and wish I was told before hand was if I was not setting it in my suv a certain way they could not help me load it I understand that laying it down they do not prefer or suggest but I definitely did not want it to tip over it so I had to literally load it myself had I known I would have come with someone to help
