I bought my wife a new Surface notebook and we had some issues with it so I brought it back to the Best Buy in Coral Springs, FL on January 6th after work. I went to Geek Squad without an appointment and was assisted by DJ Mckinnie and Leo. I didn't tell them that I have been in technology for over 30 years and instead let them diagnose the issues. They were knowledgeable, polite, and able to time-slice in other customers who had appointments or questions. After thoroughly researching the issues and realizing how recently I had made the original purchase they swapped out the notebook for an exact same model. I was pleased with the great service and impressed at how well they knew their stuff. On-prem retail is very tough these days in the shadow of the online giants and Geeksquad needs people like DJ and Leo to compete. Great Job!

Geek squad is ruining the only reasons I’m a Best Buy costumer, instead of their competitors. I have been turned away for repairs multiple times even though I have a Best Buy Total Membership. Their reasons are no repair techs are available or that they’re backed up with appointments. Way in over their heads, disappointing.
