I asked two associates for assistance (Older black guy and some kid with snake bites) and they seemed uninterested and just pointed me in the direction of the item I needed.They annoyed the hell out of me for the lack of actual assistance. Found another associate named Nick; Nick took me exactly to where the item would be, we noticed it was out of stock so he suggested another one. Fully wasn’t going to buy it because it wasn’t the same one. But checked and saw it would accomplish the same goal. Came back grabbed it and found Nick and asked about another item I’ve been looking for. He helped find it right away and I purchased both items.
After years of loyalty and full membership I have made the call to cancel my contract. $550 to set up 2 TVs 1 with surround sound is impossible to believe. Better prices elsewhere and I will transfer my loyalty as well.
Do not I repeat do not use this geek squad for stereo installation . Never . First , Best Buy in general screwed up and told me the radio I was looking at for my car Didn’t need a separate camera , it would have a back up camera ( not accurate ) They did offer to cover installation costs because of their misinformation which Is nice but never can do things properly . For example , they say they understand having a schedule work etc . So they told me to drop it off the day before scheduled camera installation . They would leave it in the garage , work on it first thing the next day . I came the scheduled drop off day , no one was around . It was locked up . So I went in the store . After investigation a store rep found out they closed and left early . They didn’t call me and the whole point of the night drop off early was to avoid missing work etc . Now I don’t know when it will be finished. This was on top of one tech who was rude
Very helpful they don't sell tablets with access to a SIM card but other than that they're great
