I had a very disappointing experience with Best Buy, from start to finish. As soon as I walked into the store, I waited quite a while after saying I needed help choosing a TV, but no one came to assist me. Eventually, an employee showed up with a very condescending attitude. He immediately told me that nothing was available within my budget, even though there was a Samsung TV right in front of us that clearly fit my budget. When I pointed this out, he started pushing me to spend double the price, claiming I would “really love it” because of better graphics, colors, and resolution. When I said I honestly didn’t see a big enough difference to justify paying twice as much, he laughed at me. That was extremely unprofessional. I was already determined to buy the TV I chose, and I told him his behavior was leaving a very bad impression. At that point, I just wanted him to stop talking. The service got even worse after the purchase. Delivery is advertised as free, but unboxing costs $120, and configuration is another $70, which already feels excessive. On the day of delivery, I waited the entire day. The delivery window passed, and then someone called saying they would arrive within 30 minutes. I waited another hour and 15 minutes before somebody finally showed up. Because I had been waiting far beyond the estimated time, I asked if they could at least help me unbox the TV and place it on the stand as a form of compensation. The answer was a flat no — “it’s $120 for that.” This experience clearly showed that customer satisfaction is not a priority here. Between the rude in-store service and the inflexible, unreliable delivery process, I felt completely disrespected as a customer. I would not recommend shopping here if you expect basic courtesy or accountability.
