Best Buy Fort Myers

Alexis the Geek Squad Manager set the example today. Had a customer who needed help getting his laptop repaired, he had a few people saying different things but none offering a solution. Alexis took it over and made it happen. Nice work. Tim the Manager has a way of bringing greatness out of his team which many of us are grateful for, thank you both.

Went there for Geek Squad didn't have an appointment but was helped immediately. Friendly and knowledgeable staff throughout the store. Is my Home Depot of electronic stores.

I have a Lenovo idea tab and was looking for pen and the case for it. After speaking with an associate, I was told they were out of them at that store. He said that I could get one at another store 20 minutes away or purchase one online. I appreciate his help and looking for the items. I'm just going to go to the Lenovo website and purchase it there. There were other things that were out of stock such as Lego products. It seemed like a waste of time to visit the store. I wasn't able to actually see what I was buying. Just a big let down.

Bought an HP tank printer to day. The Best Buy website stated it came with 3 years of ink. The box when I picked it up said 2 years. I asked the cashier how I get the 3rd year of ink, she said you don’t. Whatever is on the box is what you get. I left, not a deal breaker. I get home and see a 4 year geek squad warranty was added. But I checked on NO EXTENDED WARRANTY. So I call the store to remove the warranty change. But the store turned off their phone. Even Best Buy customer service was unable to call them. They refunded the warranty and told me the ink difference was fraud, their words not mine. Told me to call a different Best Buy to see if that manager could call the Fort Myers store and have the manager call to resolve this! Are you kidding! They told me I could drive back (40 min each way) and see the manager! But how will I know if he’s available if the phone is turned off! We are buying a 77 inch OLED tv in September, it won’t be from Best Buy’s in Fort Myers Florida! Update! Did as I was directed to by Best Buys response to my review. Spoke to a Megan told me”it’s all in the fine print “ if you make less copies per month the 2 years of ink can last 3! With that logic if I cut my usage in half it could last 6 years! Sounds like the story of Hanukkah! The candles will stay lit! “The store is too busy to use their phones “ and she will write a report. Nothing helpful, no apology and wait 7 to 10 to see if the geek squad charge gets reversed. No more Best Buy’s for us.
