Ordered a laptop online for in store pickup, Thursday Dec 18. The website said it would be available within the hour. Went to the store 2 hours later to pick it up, there was no one in the exterior online order pickup spots, there was no one in the online order pickup line inside. My order still was not ready, despite me apparently being the only person waiting on an order. When I spoke to the young curly haired employee at the order pickup counter they said it wasn’t ready. It is one laptop. They said it would take at minimum an hour, possibly until the end of the day for it to be ready. Again, for someone to get one laptop, which I have already paid for, off of the shelf and walk it up to the front of the store. I left rather than wait. Luckily, I checked my order status on Friday evening Dec 19th, before going to pick it up,m. 24 hours later, it still is not ready. So I call, get hung up on four times by Best Buy’s budget AI receptionist, and finally speak to not one, but three different representatives to get to the right person, to find out that for no reason whatsoever, it still is not ready, and they’re not working on it. That person then assured me they would get it handled. Guess what, 3 hours later, still not ready. One laptop, that is sitting there, brand new, on the shelf already paid for. 30 hours later no one can scan it and walk it 50 meters to the front of the store. I will never shop at this store again.
The worst Best Buy possible in central Florida. No customer service for 20, 25 minutes at the store, had to ask two employees for help. Person that sold me a JBL soundbar told me I can connect to my Xbox and monitor. After two hours of trying to connect, i called them for help and they asking 100 dollars for a technician to come in do it. I’m pretty sure now I can’t connect the sound to my Xbox and monitor at the same time. I’ve wasted 5 hours of my day dealing with this. Worst customer service I had ever received from Best Buy. I’m returning my soundbar and canceling my membership.
Service was very good. One of the staff members came by asked what we were looking for. After describing what we wanted and showed her what we liked she showed us something of greater quality for the same price. She didn’t try to upsell just wanted the better item for us. Wish I remembered her name. Great experience
