The best experience I have had in a Best Buy i. 10 years or more. The woman manager even made it a point to come out to the parking lot to thank us for raving about our visit with the door security team.
Came in to buy a dishwasher. Sales person Mark Schiesinger convinced us to buy a Maytag dishwasher. He confirmed that with Geek Squad there is a peace of mind, and worst case GS will replace the unit. So I went with this, Geek Squad and Installation so I can be protected. The washer did not last 2 months. GS is not doing anything because of manufacturer's warranty. Called the number Mark gave me to be sent to the most useless AI phone bot. After reaching out to manufacturer, they confirmed the unit was dropped and they will fix it. After they ordered a new tub, the unit did not last 2 days. I came to this location to request a replacement and was told they can't do anything until the manufacturer says it's broken-unrepairable. Next appointment is in 10 days that they come to look at it again. Mind you, we used this trash washer for about a month.
I am beyond disappointed with BestBuy. They should take responsibility for defective units, and sales people should not lie to customers about hands off experience. I had to call dozens of numbers during work hours to try to figure this out, when I paid the price of the unit, installation, geek squad and parts.
I demand my dishwasher to be replaced to the unit that is not dropped and defective. I paid for a brand new product and I did not receive it.
