Best Buy Miami Beach

I’ve generally had good experiences at this Best Buy, which made today’s visit especially disappointing. My friend came in ready to shop for a phone, and Tito was showing her Samsung models. I made a casual comment about the price compared with an iPhone. Instead of continuing to help her, he turned his attention to me and started challenging me with questions about my iPhone’s camera and zoom. I repeatedly told him, “I don’t know.” I wasn’t claiming to be a phone expert or trying to debate him. That didn’t stop him. He kept pressing me and answering his own questions in a condescending tone, making it feel like his goal was to embarrass me in front of my friend. When I walked away, he kept calling me back to continue. My friend felt uncomfortable too. She was the person shopping, yet Tito failed to help her find what she needed, and she left without buying a phone. I still purchased a laptop case, but I left upset. It’s unacceptable for an employee to turn a customer’s casual comment into an opportunity to humiliate them, especially while neglecting the customer who came in to buy something.

My review today is not for Best Buy as a store but about one of their staff members at the store in Miami Beach. Naza is one of those employees that truly makes the difference. Great professional, knowledgeable, always ready to go the extra mile if needed. It’s because of staff like Naza that I will be a recurring customer at Best Buy in Miami Beach.
