Had a 5pm appointment on a Monday , after rescheduling three different times when I sat more than 30 minutes each time while waiting to be seen.. I asked to speak to a manager and a guy named Mark and “advisor” showed up saying he was a “manager “ ( refused to give me his last name) and a guy with a “man bun” showed as well that claimed he was a manager. almost every employee in that store was doing absolutely nothing but hanging out with one another, standing around. Most of the customers were at the geek squad waitng as I was. When I questioned him about the systemic issue at this Best Buy and why he isn’t concerned with all of the customers waiting so long and giving up, he just said everyone else had other jobs. I get it. But as a Manager he should communicate with departments that are lacking in customer support and schedule appropriately by looking at actual appointments verses geek squad support. To me, very poorly managed, as if run by a bunch of high school kids with no management experience and very lazy other than standing around and chatting with buddies or staring at there phones. I think corporate should be aware of the issues at the Villages Best Buy. I plan to cancel all of my geek squad support and Best Buy cards and go elsewhere where they actual care when six or seven people have to set around hours after a scheduled appointment. Mark was just rude and so was Man Bun guy about every question I had to support our case with the appointment system and poor management. Best Buy will be Circuit City and close it’s doors soon if this persists.
