On 04/22/25 I went to buy an Xbox controller at this store and an employee named Héctor was very rude and harsh with me. I asked if he was available to help me complete my purchase and he refused to help me because, according to him, he only spoke Spanish and he said that America was a free country and we could speak whatever language we wanted, and he refused to help me. How can he work in a store in a country like the United States and not speak at least basic English? Or should he have a minimum of education and ethics to pass me on to another salesperson. Customers need solutions to problems and not leave the store dissatisfied.
I do not speak Spanish and I was trying to communicate in English, he understood everything I said, but refused to help me. He simply did not want to be in this store to work. I believe that Best Buy should hire better employees. I will never go to this store again if I am treated so badly.
It's a great store and has a lot of technology and it's great for that reason but when it comes to the staff we'll I dont know what tonsay.. it seems like it's understaffed at times per example I went the other day about 20 min before closing and no one in the home theater system. After waiting about 15 minutes I decided to go to security up front to ask for help. He said maybe someone can help you from the computer department after they were done only problem was that there wells one guy amd about 8 customers waiting around..so I left with nothing because of lack of staff.. but overall yes u can find amazing tech but u just might not be able to buybit depending if it's not on a shelve..
