nice but a little expensive
Horrible experience and horrible customer service. I called the store they told me they had the item I wanted which cost $692.24. They sent me the invoice to purchase the item over the phone so that way the item would be ready for pick up at the customer service for same day pick up. I paid the $692.24 and received the receipt on best buys end confirming that the payment not only went through but the item is ready for me to come and pick up. I then drove 45 minutes to retrieve the item. And was told by Anthony who is an employee at the best buy that the payment was cancelled. Which makes no sense because not only did i receive the order number, the confirmation of the payment going through from best buy, but also the money was taking out of my account. I gave Anthony all of this information and he still proceeded to tell me that my payment was cancelled and then sold the item I wanted to another customer who came after me while I was still speaking with him about the situation. I requested to speak to a store manager and conveniently he had to step away for personal matters. I then spoke to the team manager Axel who did his best to assist me with the situation. I was given a complete run around and no real explanation of how something like that happens. And the complete unprofessionalism and the lack of customer care is ridiculous. Especially after being charged $692.24 and not even being able to leave with the item but instead have the item sold to another customer who was behind me in line. I would like to understand how Orlando Gonzalez who is the store manager of the best buy allows paying customers to be treated like that, and also how does $692.24 dollar purchase mean nothing to them. My payment was not cancelled because the money was taken from my account, I received confirmation that best buy received my payment and was given the order number for the item from best buy. Again Axel did his best to assist. This item I was trying to purchase was a gift for a family member. Axel then told me they had that same item but that was used and returned with a damaged box for a discounted price. I needed that item and especially after driving 45 minutes I wasnt going to leave empty handed. I then spent additional $613 for the a used item. What was supposed to be a $692.24 purchase became a $1305 purchase and I have yet to receive my reimbursement of the $692.24 from the first purchase. I am disgusted, frustrated and extremely disappointed with the customer service, and the situation in a whole. I hope that future customers read this comment and stay far away from this place.
