⭐ “Mission Impossible: Best Buy Edition” I walked into Best Buy hoping to buy a simple laptop charger. Instead, I was apparently auditioning for Survivor: Electronics Island.
Step 1: Locate an employee. Sounds easy, right? WRONG. It felt like I was in a wildlife documentary — you know, when the narrator says, “The elusive blue-shirted Best Buy associate hasn’t been spotted in weeks.” 🦜
Step 2: Ask for help. I finally found one, but they vanished mid-sentence like a magician’s final trick. I swear they used the store’s intercom as a smoke bomb. 💨🎩
Step 3: Survive the sales pitch. The next staff member tried to upsell me a $200 “premium charger” that looked like it could power a small submarine. When I said no, they looked at me like I had just kicked a puppy. 🐶💔
Final verdict: If you enjoy scavenger hunts, awkward sales pitches, and staff who treat customer service like an extreme sport — this is your Disneyland. 🎢
The customer service here is fantastic. They are so helpful, store is immaculate. Recommend anyone who is looking for pc parts or appliances.
Here's how my experience went:
Went in to buy a new cooler because my cpu was overheating. Had an employee tell me to try changing the paste before buying a new cooler. In the end, mine ended up being dead, but it was great they offered me a cheaper solution to try first.
Once I bought the cooler - I ran into an issue. Called this store and explained my monitors weren't registering, the guy gave me some things to check (including making sure my ram didn't get dislodged). Turns out that was the problem. I had removed it to have more room to work and didn’t snap it back in properly.
Very happy with the experience. Everyone in the store seems to have built their own PC and they know their stuff. 10/10
Purchased two flush-mount speakers for my Sonos system. I paid to have them installed by the Geek Squad. When they came, the installer said he did not have a tall ladder, but it did not matter because Comcast would not work with Sonos. They left and I called Sonos, and within 30 minutes, they had my old rear speakers putting out surround sound. I called the Geek Squad and asked to speak to a manager, and no one was available, but they would ask for a return call. That did not happen. Poor training, and management did not care.
Still waiting for a refund.
