So we went to this Best Buy for a washer and dryer combo. We saw a nice LG setup that we liked and we opted for the optional stands for the base (washer base was a small garments washer and dryer base was additional storage). The washer base was on back order, but we purchased anyway and waited for the delivery of the base. For months, they tried delivering the base, but every attempt was the wrong base (a 29” base instead of the 27” base we ordered). We called customer service to let them know and they said they would re-attempt the delivery. They tried 3 times in total and every time it was the wrong base. So we called to cancel the washer base since they weren’t getting it right and to return the dryer base since it makes no sense for one machine to be raised while the other one is on the floor. Customer Service informed us that we can return the dryer base to any Best Buy location for a full refund since the original order was not completed as agreed to. We brought the dryer base to Best Buy to return it and they began giving us the runaround stating that we were outside of our return period. This base is heavy and we didn’t want to bring it back to the house, so we left it in the store and told them to call us when they figure it out. They never called us, so essentially Best Buy stole our money.
