⭐ 1/5 Really disappointed with the customer service I received today. I asked an employee named Tracey for help finding a PC case. From the beginning, she came across as rude and dismissive and told me she couldn’t help because she didn’t work in that area, so I had to find another employee myself. When I finally found someone else, I was initially told the case I wanted wasn’t in stock, even though I showed that the store had one left. He eventually found it and got it for me. Then I get to checkout, and Tracey is the one at the register. Her response when she saw me was, “You again,” and her attitude continued to be rude and unprofessional. I normally don’t leave 1-star reviews, but being treated like I was an inconvenience simply for asking for help made the entire experience uncomfortable. Customer service should make you feel welcome in the store, not like you’re bothering the employees by shopping there.

My Insignia TV died, it's the size of an average computer monitor, andcI would have liked to recycle it. According to bestbuy.com, they recycle in store for free Besy Buy branded TVs less than 50 inches. I attempted that a month or two ago, but the store closed early. I called the next day to confirm hours, the lady I spoke to asked why (apparently store hours are dependent on what the customer is doing) and informed me they do not accept any TVs in the store for recycling. Fast forward to today, I google recycling TVs, and Best Buy is listed. The website hasn't changed, says they recycle in store, I call the store to confirm I can drop the TV off, and the man I spoke to said yes and there is a $25 fee. I don't know if the website is wrong, or if the employee(s) are lazy or trying to scam.

Hello, Thanks for taking the time to share this with us. We can understand seeing what is posted officially in our Recycling Policy (https://bby.me/b5zrtT) and then getting different information when you call to confirm this, isn't an ideal experience. Our stores should be following the officially posted policy. We'd like to review this further with you though, to ensure that you are receiving the right information consistently. Please send a private message on one of our social media platforms, Facebook (https://bby.me/l9qONl), Twitter/X (https://bby.me/mKwh2s), or Instagram (https://bby.me/vIoaNN), and mention your "Google review #194632".
