Best Buy Port Charlotte

Run of the mill Best Buy. They are all basically the same. I expect it to operate the same as the last Best Buy I went in. That’s why I return, consistence.

I purchased 2 tv wallet mounts and paid to have them installed in my house. When I purchased them the employee would not let me take them out of the store and said that they would be shipped to me. When they showed up to my house they had both been opened and taped back together. I explained this to the delivery team that showed up to install them. When they started to install the bedroom u it they found out it was missing pieces. The installed said I could buy the missing pieces from him or take it to the store, exchange, and reschedule an appointment. I went to the store and explained what happened and that I was upset I sat around all day for it not to be complete. They exchanged it for an other unit and scheduled me for first thing Saturday morning. I was told they would make sure I was first so I wouldn't have to wait around all day. The installed showed up at 5:30 p.m. and when he mounted the in wall outlet he didnt cut the hole level. He didnt seem to care and kept complaining about how far he had to drive all day. Having them show up late cost me money because I couldn't turn my trailer rental in on time. When best buy called the next day to verify installation I explained what happened. She said she wasnt calling to find out how the job went. Just that it was done, she said someone will call to follow up and no one ever did. The whole experience was a huge disappointment.

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience with Best Buy. I purchased a refrigerator and paid Best Buy for delivery and installation. The installation, which was completed by a third party, resulted in a water leak that caused extensive damage to five rooms in my home. The delivery company accepted responsibility. When I was asked at purchase if I wanted delivery and installation, I was not aware that it was a third party delivery/installation company. I have spent months trying to resolve this matter, providing documentation and repair estimates, but I am still without a fair resolution. I expected more from a company I trusted enough to purchase both an appliance and installation service from.
