Don’t waste your time buying in this store, My wife and I had the worst experience of our lives at this store. After we paid for a refrigerator, they told me it would be ready for pickup the next day. When we went to pick it up, they had sold it and were offering me another one with scratches and dents for more money. We spent 3 hours trying to resolve the situation and the person in charge never showed up, supposedly being the manager. Her name is Alexa

We just had one of the worst shopping experiences at the Port Richey Best Buy. Today (09/26) was the release of a highly anticipated product set. Like many customers, we waited in line for 2.5+ hours for the store to open. About 10 minutes before the store opened, a customer service associate came out and instructed everyone to download the Best Buy app as that would be the only way to make a purchse due to a company wide issue with their POS system. Once the store opened, customers were surprised to find that the main item we waited for was not available. However, there were other items from the same set available for purchase. As customers in the front of the line purchased what they told was available, two associates started bringing out more product, including items that were not available to previous customers, meaning the people who waited in line the longest were unable to get the full spectrum of items available. In addition to not being able to get what was available, the cashiers were uninformed on how many of each item was able to be purchased by a single customer, so while some customers bought multiple items, other customers were only given one. When asked, the assistant store manager stated that customers could only get one of each item, despite what other customers had been given. It's unfortunate that the cashiers were not trained/informed on the policies of the store. It's unfortunate that the store was unprepared to handle the card release. It's unfortumate that this was our experience. And it's unfortunate that there is not another Best Buy in the area that might be better equipped to handle events such as this.
