Update- spoke to someone at customer service (again) and they remain solid on their decision not to honor the price match despite being told several times by several employees that they would.
They claim to price match then won't honor it.
The online chat rep said I could get the price match and to wait 7-10 days. That time went by and no refund. So I contacted chat again and they gave me a case number and said I'd have to go in store since that's where I bought it. So I go to the store where the manager says they can't do the price match and it has to be escalated to online/customer service. He assured me they would reach out in 1-2 days. several days later I haven't heard anything so I call online customer service back and they again tell me I need to go to the store. At this point I've waited 22 days and wasted countless hours on the phone and driving back and forth out of my way to this location only to not be helped and be given the run around. Every time I buy something at Best Buy I'm reminded of why I don't shop here.
