Went into Best Buy to grab AirPods and an Apple Pencil—should’ve been a 5-minute in-and-out. Instead it turned into a complete cluster.
I’m told AirPods are at customer service because of “trust issues,” but the Apple Pencil is locked at the Apple station. I tell them I want to pay together like a normal human being and nobody can figure it out. Just confusion, standing around, and passing me off.
It honestly felt like the store is so short-staffed and over-controlled that basic shopping is impossible. I get theft prevention, but this setup punishes paying customers.
Best Buy seriously needs more help on the floor and better processes, because this was frustrating and unnecessary. I walked in ready to spend money and walked out annoyed.

Have been here 3 times in the past 6 years. Not a single time have I walked out with what I went in for. In the past they were simply out of product. Tonight I was ignored for 30 minutes in front of the watch display. So long that I was able to find what I needed from a competitor and will now wait for it to get shipped to me I guess. Thanks for nothing.
