I placed a pickup order for a Best Buy brand MagSafe charger. I picked up my order and when I got home and opened the box, it was empty. I drove back to Best Buy hoping to get my issue resolved. I was told they would need to investigate why it was empty and they took my information down. I requested contact information for them as my information was only written down on a receipt paper and not taken in the system. The manager took a very long time to come up to talk to me and get me that information. I told him that the cord was a $13 purchase and I had spent more than that on my plus member membership fee. He then proceeded to exchange my empty box that they sold me originally for a real cord, but let me know that this is a one time thing and that they had been having issues with items being missing which is why they needed the investigation. He also said that it is up to me as a customer to check every item I purchase before I leave to make sure that it is in the box. He didn’t want to take any of the blame even though he knew the store had an issue. When I got home, I went to find a place to file a complaint about the entire interaction, but couldn’t find a link and the chat reps and text reps also couldn’t find me a link. My last resort is leaving a review. I hope this store is able to sort out their own loss prevention and not fraudulently sell empty boxes and then accuse customers of the fraud, in the future.

Terrible, service I was asking for assistance in the TV and gaming area. The employee looked at me didn’t say anything and went along to help someone else. I didn’t buy anything because of the terrible customer service.

The long wait time due to one sales associate on the floor who was busy with one customer who couldn't make up her mind about what phone to buy and a second sales associate when she finally showed up was utterly unprepared and couldn't not answer a basic question about Tesla phone products or Tesla sales at Best Buy.
