Luke at Geek Squad is the best. Took care of my problem without having me leave my laptop
Came in to pick up a order. And as I was leaving a light skinned lady asked to check my receipt. I literally came from the counter where you pick up at. Is this Walmart? When did this start? I'm from Ga and have never been harrassed at a best buy before. I can see if I had a computer or something. But literal a pair of 10dollars head phones. 😂😂
Worse store in Tallahassee
Don't bother going to Geek Squad unless you have an appointment. Yes, we're supposed to have appointments but my PC failed the morning of the first day of Summer B classes and all of the appointments were booked until the evening. I thought I could just drop it off in 5 minutes but as soon as I revealed that I didn't have an appointment the Geek Squad worker (the only one on staff on a Monday) focused on an older gentleman who did, telling me to wait 5 minutes. This much was fair, of course. 15 minutes later, the older man couldn't remember his passwords and the worker was smirking at me as I became impatient while waiting. I asked if any of the regular workers at Best Buy could just accept my drop off for PC diagnostic work but they aren't allowed to use the other Geek Squad computers. They also told me that without checking in I couldn't leave my PC there. Meanwhile, none of those who had appointments showed up while I waited another 15 minutes while the older man continued thinking about his passwords as the worker waited doing nothing. I understand that this with appointments are prioritized but there was no reason but malicious compliance why the worker couldn't just take 5 minutes for my drop off while the older man thought about his passwords. Since Best Buy tries to be competitive by offering superior customer service, this was a major disappointment. I ended up taking my PC elsewhere for diagnostic and repair, since I had to teach that morning. What should have been a 5-10 minute drop off became a 45 minute wait and I barely arrived in class on time for the first day of classes.
