Easy online orders for pick up
It’s crazy how much Best Buy has changed. Customer service has really gone downhill compared to how it used to be. I came in looking for an HP charger and saw Zach at around 2:15pm on Monday May 25th on the floor, so I approached him for help. He seemed very unmotivated. He walked me over to the charger section and just pointed at them instead of actually helping me figure out which one I needed
I asked which charger would be compatible because I wanted to make sure it would work for my laptop. He asked me for the watts, but there wasn’t clear information for the charger I was looking for. When I asked if there were any other options, he was on his phone and told me I could either order one online or just buy the one available, test it out, and if it didn’t work, come back and return it. That response was frustrating because not everyone has the time to keep making unnecessary trips back and forth
I ended up walking out without buying anything because the staff seemed unknowledgeable about the products and unwilling to actually help. The way the associates behaved the store felt like a flee market, than the professional electronics store Best Buy used to be. Very disappointing experience, especially when stores like Walmart are offering better customer service
