I am a Best Buy Plus member and have bought fridges, computers, gaming consoles etc. but will not be buying a thing from them again. This store location is okay, although they have been inconsistent with their online/phone counter parts and it's just been a headache and the combined experience with this store and online/phone customer service has been dreadful.
First issue was with the Best Buy Credit Card I signed up for. They screwed up entering some of my information (honest mistake, it's okay) and so I had to use my regular card after already applying for the card. They tell me at the store to come back once I get the card and move the transaction and I'll still get the 10%. My card comes in the mail 13 days later. Nobody mentions to me that I need to move the transaction within 14 days and I activated the card on the 14th day then moved the transaction over about a week later to my Best Buy Card. The store tells me to just call the card when I notice only 5% rewards during the transaction. I called and inquired about why I didn't get 10%, get put on hold for 15 mins, and then they hang up. After calling back and being on hold for another 30 mins they told me they can't honor the 10% since it's beyond the 14 days... I would have never signed up for the card.
Then I had another issue with price match. I contacted customer service online for an item I had bought that was on sale. It was only on sale for 3 more hours and was on a Friday night. The customer chat tells me to call back the following morning since the team that deals with price match is closed. I call the next day, they call me they can't price match since it's no longer on sale-They have full proof on their end of their item's price history but won't price match it even though I followed their policy that says to contact them online as soon as you see something go on sale that you recently bought but told me to go to the store, show them the text and messages I have and they'll price match. So I go to the store, and they tell me that they can't price match since it's not currently on sale and I explained I followed their own policy on price matching and did contact them online as soon as I saw the discounted price. I was told by the store rep they couldn't do it despite all my proof.
Best Buy doesn't even know their own policies and they make it next to impossible to make things right. I love Best Buy and I hope one day they make this right... I feel I've been taken advantage of.

This best buy store 1405 is Wesley Grove is our favorite store for the past 7 years - however, our experience with Abdullah, the gentleman who is the MicroSoft tech expert who helped our Daughter choose a laptop was amazing.
Abdullah helped pick the right laptop with good performance and price. Abdullah was incredibly patient and knowledgeable, and he took the time to understand our needs, explained our options clearly, and helped our Daughter find a laptop that fits both her academic workload and her budget.
We really appreciated how supportive and approachable Abdullah was which tmade the whole process stress-free. Highly recommend!
My computer would not turn on. This hadn't happened before and I tried lots of ideas to remedy the situation. I picked up my laptop and drove to the Wesley Chapel store. Fortunately, there was no line and Kaylyn immediately greeted me. Much to my surprise she plugged it in and everything opened. I know she isn't a magician, so I asked her to explain so I could avoid this issue happening again. She did a nice job of explaining and I left feeling somewhat confident that I could follow her suggestions to avoid this issue again. I have never had a problem with the Geek Squad at Wesley Chapel, FL. They have always found and fixed issues for me. Thanks, Kaylyn, another great experience!
