I had a very disappointing experience at Best Buy.
On Wednesday, April 22, we purchased a laptop for our granddaughter with the help of a sales associate named Mimi. We paid in full and were expecting the item to be delivered. After not receiving any updates, I called to follow up and was told to come into the store to pick it up.
When we arrived, we were told the laptop had already been picked up—which was very concerning since we never received it. Thankfully, another employee, Mahi, took the time to investigate further and confirmed that the laptop had never actually been ordered or shipped in the first place.
To make matters worse, the laptop we originally purchased was now out of stock. We asked if it was available at another location, but were told it was not. The only option offered was an open-box unit from another store, which we declined since we paid for a brand-new product. We were also offered a different model for the same price, but that was not what we originally selected or wanted.
What made this experience even more frustrating was Mimi’s lack of accountability. Instead of acknowledging the mistake, she was dismissive, made sarcastic remarks, and appeared distracted while assisting multiple customers at once. Her behavior came across as unprofessional and inconsiderate.
Overall, we are extremely disappointed. This situation could have been avoided with proper attention and follow-through. We expected better service, especially for such an important purchase.
Very disappointed I go there Friday to get a computer. I found one that was on sale. I told the guy is it OK if I put it on hold and get it on Saturday he said it was OK. I called on Saturday. Told him I probably wouldn’t be able to get there till Monday. Would they still honor the price? He said absolutely and he didn’t even give me a deadline on when the sale was. I go there today, which is Monday and they said they can’t honor it. It’s only been three days. I have a picture of it being on hold. And I asked to speak with someone and no one could talk to me about it very disappointed
Staff is kinda in their own world but selection is great only reason to go here is for niche things that you might not find at millenia or kissimmee
