Purchased something online, curbside pick up, everyone verified the purchase and I was told it was in stock and I show up to pick it up and then they tell me that it’s actually not in stock and that it won’t be to the store for five days. Absolute worst customer service experience both online and in store. This is the kind of bullshit that should not happen. And more importantly, nothing will change no matter what I say in this review.

I’ve been visiting best buy since I was a child with my parents and as an adult I regret to share that I had the worst experience at this location. I came in yesterday to get a diagnosis on my laptop that got water damage a couple days prior as I was stuck in the rain on my scooter. I was kindly greeted by a woman and was supported by Hayden and Malcolm at geek squad. The two that made my experience terrible were Mike and Lucas. Before servicing I told Hayden of my laptop issue then asked if I could charge my scooter during my appointment, he replied yes. Moments later a man named Mike was deeply staring at the two geek squad servicemen. He rudely communicated that I can’t charge any devices in their outlets. Mind you I’m at the geek squad section and this is a guy in blue talking to me. I said sir this is my first time hearing this, and kindly requested that I use the un used plug while I get serviced. ( I was in here for 5 minutes at this point) I purchased my computer here and naturally grew loyalty to the location but honestly I will not be back. Mike ends up asserting that I have 30 minutes using his outlet. I said okay and thank you. ( ten minutes later) a man named Lucas is with another guy and literally snatched my cord out of the wall and dropped it on the ground. I saw it all happen and plainly said hey that was very rude. He asked if this was my scooter and explained that nobody can use the plug as he literally is allowing another man plug up his device after taking mine out. I told him that Mike gave me thirty minutes so I would appreciate you leaving my cord the way it was found. I have never experienced such terrible service at a department store!!! My family goes to Best Buy for everything electronic, we are moving our money elsewhere. After all of this I want to show my gratitude to Hayden and Malcolm as they found a way to cheer me up and service me in a timely manner. I was in and out in 20 minutes. The geek squad guys are very patient and for anyone that needs servicing those two agents will handle whatever you need.
