One star, and only because zero is not an option. On 5/19/26 I drove over three hours round-trip to Best Buy #1486 in Hiram to purchase a specific open-box unit: an ASUS ProArt 13" (Ryzen 9 / 32GB / 1TB / RTX 4050), listed at Condition: Fair, for $1,041.99 plus tax ($1,114.93 total). Per Best Buy's own published standards, "Fair" condition denotes cosmetic wear on a unit that has been inspected and confirmed fully functional. At point of sale, the associate at this location initially refused to open the box for inspection. I had to insist before they relented, despite the fact that inspecting open-box merchandise prior to purchase is standard Best Buy practice. The laptop powered on briefly in the store. After arriving home and charging it, it never powered on again. Two days later, on 5/21/26, Geek Squad at a different Best Buy location confirmed the unit was dead. A unit graded Fair, sold as functional by this store, and dead within 48 hours of leaving it was either never tested before being placed on the floor or was tested and sold anyway. There is no third option, and this is a direct condition-disclosure failure originating at Store #1486. To be clear about what this Hiram location specifically demonstrated: a pre-sale policy violation in refusing inspection, the sale of a defective unit misrepresented as Fair-grade functional, and a $1,114 transaction that should never have closed under Best Buy's own open-box testing standards. Open-box programs depend entirely on retailer credibility. Customers accept depreciated pricing in exchange for verified functionality and accurate condition grading. This store delivered neither. Anyone considering open-box purchases here, particularly at higher price tiers and particularly if any meaningful drive is involved, should weigh that carefully.

I dropped off my TV on 5/3 for repairs. I was told it would take a week. Today, 5/17 i have not received a call regarding the status of the repairs. I have made numerous calls, been placed on hold forever just to be told I'll be given a call back. I was given an EXT to contact someone, they never answer and never return the call. I will be going in person today. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!

I bought a fridge from Samsung. The delivery and installation was supposed to be done by Best Buy. The amazing workers said it was too heavy and left it in my garage. They have since marked the installation as complete and said they installed it. Do anything in your power to not have Best Buy deliver an item for you.
