Talk about supply chain breach.
My family and I had to replace my wife’s iPhone— we went to the Hiram BestBuy to purchase a new iPhone 16e and had a great experience with the sales team.
Getting home we were stunned and disappoint and concerned after opening what appeared to be sealed new packaging only to see that we received a bricked device linked to a hospital chain in Texas.
I had to drive back, speak with the manager, communicate multiple times this made me a little uncomfortable about the Best Buy apple supply chain and they made little no effort to explain or make me feel like I should ever come back.
So disappointed- they rushed me out and did nothing to make me feel like they cared or recognized the inconvenience or severity of the supply chain breach as the premier Apple distributer. Really hard to trust your getting new product when you literally receive sealed product registered to another customer.
Watch what you buy- if you have doubts - trust your gut. Sketch business when a customers trust in your supply chain isn’t priority? Yikes.
Not sure if this is on Apple or Bestbuy but my feeling is it wasn’t on me or Lubbock County Hospital Group.

Excellent experience at Best Buy. The staff was super helpful & knowledgeable without making me feel rushed. Will definitely be shopping here again!
When you try and call the store it’s answered by a completely useless AI system that asks the same question numerous times and refuses to transfer to the call to the actual store. Instead, they transfer you to a call center that places you on an extremely long hold before answering and is equally as useless at their AI system. I won’t shop at a place that can’t even bother to answer the phone with an actual human who works at the Hiram Best Buy. Hopefully Best Buy will be out of business soon.

We understand the frustration when you are unable to get the support you were looking for over the phone. While Best Buy has not offered direct calling to our stores for several years, our support teams are always here to help you with your purchases.
