I was referred to Best Buy Newnan and the Geek Squad through Apple Support to have my iPhone serviced. The phone was brand new, purchased in May 2025, and still well within Apple’s one-year warranty. The issue was a non-working charging port.
After driving 30 minutes to the store for my appointment, I was told by Geek Squad that my iPhone’s serial number “could not be found,” and therefore there was nothing they could do. No troubleshooting, no escalation, no attempt to resolve the issue—just dismissal.
I contacted Apple Support again while at the store, and Apple set up another appointment for me at the same Best Buy location. That appointment was later canceled by Best Buy/Geek Squad, not by me, with an email stating they could not help. This reflects extremely poor attention to detail and lack of coordination between Apple and Best Buy.
To make matters worse, the associate I dealt with was rude and unhelpful throughout the process.
Between the wasted time, unnecessary driving, canceled appointment, and overall lack of professionalism, this experience was incredibly frustrating. I will never return to Best Buy Newnan or use Geek Squad services again, and I would not recommend them to anyone needing Apple Support Services.
Gavin was very helpful when assisting me with the noise cancelling headphones. Was able to obtain a great pair currently on sale. Would happily shop here again!
Andrew was spot on with product knowledge, and he did so with smart professionalism. I am happy to shop Best Buy because of availability of all things electronic and helpful, friendly staff.
