Easily one of the worst experiences I've had with a best buy. The person who "helped" me was little to no help at all in finding me a suitable laptop and pushed his own personal bias for Apple onto me. Glad I did my own research in the store and found something that works. Coming from someone who works in Healthcare and dealing with patients at their worst, the customer service was abhorrent. Please avoid going here.
Purchased a home theater receiver. Upon opening, noticed that there was no remote. Can't do much without the remote because it operates several options on the receiver. Contacted Best Buy via chat and they suggested to contact Best Buy Aiea. Contacted Best Buy Aiea. . . Supposedly. Because it pretty much sounded like I was talking to a call center even though the Best Buy Aiea had an 808 number. Spoke to 4 different employees. Repeating the issue each time. Each time they agreed that a remote was supposed to be included with the unit. Suggested that I go down to Best Buy Aiea and either return the item or get a partial refund. Um, no. Why am I going to waste $ to get a partial refund that won't even pay for gas to get there?
Please don't make me repeat the situation again to Best Buy employee #5. Because you just connected me to another number where I had to leave my information and Best Buy employee #5 is going to contact me back.
All this for a remote. . . And guess what? Still no remote.
Best Buy, you need to get your act together.
This time they had a very helpful staff working.
Best Buy .. and particularly this store and its PEOPLE … are THE BEST !
