Not much other options for electronics, appliances, and tech related items on the island. Selection has decreased over the years but mostly due to economy and demographics. It's one of the few physical stores left for those that prefer hands on demonstration versus online experience.

I purchased a unit from Best Buy Honolulu that failed in under 10 minutes. When I sought assistance, I was told their 15-day return window had closed and that warranty issues were “not their responsibility.” I spent two hours on the phone with 4 different agents including a supervisor—none would help. The product’s manufacturer refused warranty service because I live in Hawaii, yet Best Buy still sold the item here and now refuses to do anything. This experience is unacceptable for a national retailer. If you buy a product here and it fails, you deserve support—not to be passed around.
