How do I check product availability at the Boise Best Buy?
BestBuy.com will have the latest product availability information. Check back frequently, as product availability may change. Statuses such as Sold Out or Check Stores may update throughout the season. Products displayed as Sold Out, In Store Only, or Check Stores cannot be ordered by phone. Call Center agents are not able to provide guidance on inventory levels.
How do I check my order status?
Visit the Order Status page and enter the order number (from your order confirmation email), plus the last name and phone number you used to place the order. If you have an account, you can also access your orders from your Account overview after you sign in.
My local Boise Best Buy store and BestBuy.com ran out of the item I want. Is there another way to get it?

As far as the products they offer, best buy is amazing in selection and quality. The reason for three stars and not more has to do with customer service. I visited best buy multiple times and found I had to wander the store for quite awhile before any associate would acknowledge my existence with either a greeting or an offer to help me find anything. They all seemed too busy socializing with coworkers. Then after purchasing a laptop I had a simple question to ask about it overheating and how to keep it cool so I called customer support and could not get the automated prompts to understand me or my question so I had to take my laptop back to the store to ask for help. I spoke with someone up front about how I could cool a laptop that has its fans on the bottom of it. They didn't seem to have a solution so I returned it and went to look for a laptop that did not have fans on the bottom. The associate in the computer department was helpful in explaining that all laptops have fans on the bottom and showed me a device that goes on your lap and has fans in it to keep the laptop cool. So I went back up front and got my originally purchased laptop back. It really seemed to be such an exhausting process just to get a simple answer to a question.
