Best Buy Coeur D'Alene

I'm posting about my experience with buying a new unlocked phone at Best Buy. I found an early black Friday deal on a Motorola phone and went in to purchase it. There was only a single employee helping at the cell phone area. She was great though the whole experience. There were a couple customers in front of me but she asked what I was looking for. When I told her she made a call on the radio for help as the line was growing. Nobody showed up. When it was my turn, she quickly grabbed the phone from the back and begin to ring up the phone. I had a $10 off online email that she attempted to apply to the phone but it wasn't working. She called for a manager but none came. She called again after a couple of minutes and one finally made it. When he tried to apply the $10 discount, it didn't work. He said the reason was the phone must be at the lowest price that they can offer it. However I did have a $5 off that was on my account and they were able to apply that. I guess The phone wasn't at the lowest price after all. Lastly I asked her to transfer my old phone to the new one like they had 5 years earlier when I purchased a new phone from Best Buy. She told me that I had to go to the geek squad. I had to wait in line again only to be told it would cost $40 to do that. I went to T-Mobile and they did it for free. The only reason I'm giving them 2 stars is because of the one employee that tried to help and because of the price of the phone. After this experience, I will think twice about buying from them again.

The name says it all. Found many great deals here, from audio to video. Knowing the geek squad is available is nice as well.

Stopped by to pick up a online order. The staff os always great when I come in. They are very knowledgeable and always willing to help me find what I need. The variety of items and the Ability to touch and try out make the best buy store a nice option. The Prices for Black Friday were a good value.
