I have been a loyal Best Buy customer for years and have had screen protectors installed on multiple phones through this store. Unfortunately, this experience has completely damaged my trust in this location. I brought my phone in for a screen protector installation. Prior to the appointment, my phone had no visible screen damage. After the installation, I later discovered a crack that appears to originate from an area hidden by the phone case. The screen protector itself remains completely intact while the screen underneath is damaged. What makes this situation especially concerning is that the case had not been removed after the installation until the damage was discovered. In addition, the installation process was different from my previous experiences. In the past, my phone case was removed and returned separately. During this visit, the phone was taken and returned with the case still on. While I cannot say with absolute certainty exactly when the damage occurred, the circumstances strongly suggest that it happened during the service. I contacted both the store and corporate regarding my concerns. Corporate indicated that responsibility for resolving the issue rested with the store, but the store manager declined to provide any remedy. As a result, I am now left having to seek repairs elsewhere and pay for a screen repair out of pocket. The most disappointing part of this experience was not just the damage itself, but the lack of accountability and willingness to work toward a resolution. I have trusted Best Buy with my devices for years, but this experience has significantly damaged that trust. Because of how this situation was handled, I am hesitant to return to this location for future device services and will be reconsidering future purchases here as well.

Staff are friendly and welcoming, ask you if you need help when you walk in. But they're also selling warranties, membership plans, and credit cards.
