Best Buy Bolingbrook

If I could give 0 stars I would. I purchased a HP OmniBook X Flip on 7/31/26 and it stopped working on 9/14/26. I purchased Geek Squad protection and contacted them regarding the issue. They tried troubleshooting the issue to no avail. They made me a physical appointment at this racist location. Arrived on 9/17/26 on time at 8:20 P M. and yet I had to wait 15 mins leaving 25 mins before the store closed. The racist Geek Squad guy never apologized. He never touched my computer to troubleshoot the issue. He told me they had to send my computer out which could take 3 weeks. I explained I was that I needed to work and how this was an inconvenience. I inquired about a loaner due to my inability to work. I also explained that over the phone I was informed coming in person would resolve the issue. He expressed no empathy. I showed him policy per Geek Squad protection regarding replacement and informed him that I contacted HP who indicated it was a hardware issue and had I bought it directly from them, they would have traded the computer for another one. This guy ignored me. Then I approached the attached store lead who was also racist and explained my issue. She brushed me off and said the store was closing. Shen then called the police on me and filed a trespassing citation. So here I am still out of $900 and unable to work due Best Buy selling me a defected computer and not wanting to take accountability. This is poor customer service and racism at its finest. I will never support this franchise EVER again and I advise other African Americans to never step foot at this location. I await a response from corporate.

Good luck trying to get any help on the floor there was one gentleman that was working the floor working as a cashier working in The Geek Squad multi-talented one guy working in appliances stereos and TVs two people in the whole store open boxes torn wires through them somebody needs to go through this place sit down with the manager tap the employees on the back because they're doing an outstanding job but the management well that's a different story

Locally I choose the Best Buy in Bolingbrook over the one in Joliet 10 out of 10 times. People here are always friendly and always willing to help.
