How are they still in business?
I bought a Samsung A16 phone a few weeks ago and realized that it was seriously under powered. I came back on the final day, August 28th, 2025, to return it and I bought another phone that I would transfer my data to. I brought it home to use my wifi to transfer the data and ran into a problem with the SIM card. The new phone didn't recognize the old SIM card and although all the new phones now either use the old SIM card or an eSIM, I couldn't get thy new phone to receive data. I returned about 15 minutes before closing to return the Samsung A16 to get my money back, minus the $45 restocking fee, and hopefully get help with my SIM problem. The salesman that sold me the phone told me that they couldn't help me with a T-Mobile account; only Verizon and AT&T. I asked if the manager on duty could at least extend the return for another day, otherwise I'd be stuck with a device that I didn't like. The salesman did that his manager said that there was a VERY strict policy on returns of mobile devices, and essentially that I was screwed, his words repeated to me.
I'll say that the lack of empty and service is why that Best Buy had become a ghost town, and long time loyal customers, such as myself, have lost interest in shopping there, and going to Amazon. I used to like the knowledge and service that I got from Best Buy, but NO MORE.
If Best Buy received the same treatment as brands such as Kohls, Budwiser, Target and now Cracker Barrel, I'd feel empathy for the employees who'd lose their jobs, but it's the lack of customer service purported by management that'll ultimately lead to their demise.
So, thank you for selling me a subpar $200+ brick of a phone and telling me that I'm basically screwed!

Terrible location looks half closed and customer service was no where
Wanted a vga cable and a usb remote, couldn't find the vga. Asked an employee. He pointed me to a section I'd already been, but I went and looked again anyway. It wasn't there. After 10 minutes of wandering around and failing to find a helpful employee, or the items I want, I left. Door guy asked if I had any questions, I told him I couldn't find anything that I wanted, he said have a nice day. I don't feel like Best Buy is strong enough in the marketplace to be this underwhelming of an experience.
