I made an appointment to get my iPhone battery replaced at Best Buy. My appointment was scheduled for 6:40pm on a Saturday and it was made 3 days in advance. I get to my appointment and this kid behind the counter tells me that we can do paperwork today but the actual repair has to be scheduled for another day. Why?? “Because the repair guy was scheduled to get off 45 min ago. He’s hanging out in the back right now, but he’s off the clock.” Really?? What’s the point of having an appointment then??! I can’t believe I had to stop what I was doing in St Charles, MO and drive 45 to 50 min to make it. Why on earth did I just battle Saturday traffic on 270 for 45 minutes to sign paperwork?!? What an absolute joke. That’s the last appointment I’m making with The Geek Squad.
Two employees, including the assistant manager, spent over an hour with me trying to resolve issues with the best buy credit card (through no fair of the employees). They also did an excellent job of helping me pick out a new laptop.
Went to this best buy, used my best buy credit card account to make a purchase, and as soon as I left. The worker looked up my account and proceeded to make 3 purchases using my best buy account. They spent around 1300. Then returned some of the stuff for gift cards which my understanding is that they are supposed to refund to original payment method. Don't go here unless you want them to use your account to go shopping...
