Bestbuy may have a wide selection of products at a fair price but their service is terrible. When Bestbuy Corp decided to move GeekSquad Services to a 3rd party - it has failed to deliver on that part of the business. The last 2 times I made a purchase for delivery and installation, I have waited all day without notification that it was being cancelled and rescheduled. Is my time not worth $$$ too. Bestbuy loves to charge for everything but unwilling to compensate the consumer when they waste a customer's time.

Tl;DR Brought a laptop to geek squad for a minor fix. They told me a to purchase a new computer without even looking at the issue. Came in to see if they could fix my laptop. Made an appointment with Geek Squad. Geek Squad agent didn’t even look at the laptop before telling me there wasn’t anything he could do and that I should buy a new laptop. I got a second opinion at a UBreakIFix in Champaign. They confirmed it was a broken $15 dollar port that I could replace myself once I get the part.

Wish I could give TJ more than 5 stars! He was polite, funny, and so helpful. He made sure to check on us during a lengthy device reset process. I wish we had more TJs in this world!
