I purchased the Insignia F40 Series Fire TV from this Best Buy on November 12, 2025.
The TV developed a severe hardware defect (black screen and frighteningly loud, high-pitched noise) just a few days after the 15-day return window closed. The noise is so bad it has woken me and my children up, terrified, in the middle of the night.
The Problem: I have called the Homewood Best Buy location repeatedly since the issue started, and the store does not answer its phone. I cannot initiate a warranty claim or get any guidance. Amazon customer service (who makes the Fire TV software) confirmed they can't help since I didn't buy it through them.
I am now stuck with a defective TV and zero support from the retailer who took my money. While the price was good, the quality and the support at this location are deeply disappointing.

By far the worst experience I’ve ever had with any retailer.
I purchased a washer and dryer on 11/24/25 with an expected delivery date of 11/29/25. I waited all day for delivery only to be told that the dryer was electric instead of gas. I instructed the two delivery drivers to at least install the washer and remove the old appliances. They assured me they were coming inside to do so — but instead, they literally drove off.
I immediately called customer service once I realized what happened. They assured me the washer would be delivered the next day between 3:30 PM and 6:30 PM. Not only did they never show up, but when I called back, I was told I now needed to pay an additional $100 because they charged me for the wrong product in the first place.
What makes this even worse is that I wasted another full day at home waiting, without so much as a phone call. Their customer service is based in another country and will say anything just to get you off the phone. They promise compensation until you ask for it to be sent in writing — then the story changes. They also promised a supervisor would call me back within 1–2 hours, but after waiting and calling again, I was told, “Sorry for the inconvenience, but it’s actually 8–10 hours.”
This entire situation has been extremely frustrating and completely unacceptable. Best Buy seriously needs to do better.
My only pet peeve about this location. Is that store associates constantly walk by me or pretend to be busy. As if I'm invisible.
