I had a witnessed a distasteful experience at this location. While browsing for electronics I observed a young African American guy walk in in his work uniform to pick up a order from this location since he was told by Schaumburg that they mistakenly told him that they had it so they sent him here to Joliet. So the guy was approached by a African American floor rep and while in the middle of getting help they both were rudely interrupted by this short Hispanic floor rep that on so many words shooed away his co worker and told this customer you’ll need to cancel the order and reorder then you can come pick it up when it’s ready! And he just walks off!!!! Like he literally just walked off!! I was so shocked at how he completely disregarded this customer that I’m sure doesn’t live anywhere near here! I can’t imagine getting off work and being told lies and then treated like trash with no acknowledgment or empathy! When I tell you customer svc is what keeps companies thriving it is the truth because as a retail manager there’s no way in hell I’d allow this! It creates a hostile work environment and it’s unprofessional behavior. This guy acts like there aren’t less Best Buy stores available now! As if they didn’t do a major sweep and let go a lot of ppl between 2022-2025. The stores are ghost towns now when you walk in and online shopping isn’t promising either with all of these competitive pricing and companies that offer better accuracy of product availability. This guy was a straight up idiot and complete jerk! I will NEVER return here!! 🚮 🗑️

Would leave 0 stats if it let me. I will never buy anything from Best Buy again. On Monday 12/08/25, I drove nearly an hour to the Best Buy in Joliet because they had a side by side refrigerator advertised in my price range. Unfortunately when I got there they didn't have that one available but I was able to get a similar one for nearly the same price. I paid for delivery which was extra because of distance and removal of my old fridge that is barely working anymore. They only offer delivery on weekdays and I work Monday through Friday. Earliest available was Friday 12/12/25 between 7am and 7pm with an updated time the day before delivery. Work has been slow so didn't want to miss a day but desperately need new fridge. On Thursday I called off for Friday and late that night I got an email saying updated delivery would be between 3pm and 7pm. At 730pm it still hadn't arrived so I called the Best Buy number. I was then told that my fridge hasn't been available and won't be available until next week. I asked why I received the email the night before saying it would be delivered if it wasn't available and wasn't given an answer. Still delivery is only available on weekdays so now I'd have to miss another day of pay and take a 2nd infraction HOPING they actually deliver it. I'm cancelling the order and my Best Buy card. Can get the same products from Home Depot, Menards, Amazon, Walmart or mom and pop stores. Rather spend the thousands of dollars renovating my home with a company that actually cares about it's customers
