I am filing a complaint regarding an order I placed on April 26th for an Apple iPad 11-inch A16 256GB through Best Buy. After multiple shipping delays and routing issues involving Indiana, Texas, and finally my home address, the package ultimately arrived containing an iPad box with a CRONUS ZEN device inside instead of the iPad I purchased. Immediately after discovering the issue, I contacted Best Buy customer service and was instructed to visit the nearest store location to process the return. Since there are no nearby stores in my area anymore, I drove approximately 35–40 minutes to the Norridge location (Store #319). Upon arriving, Manager Edwin informed me that the return could not be processed and instructed me to contact corporate again. On May 19th, after speaking with corporate support a second time, I was explicitly assured that the store manager would be able to process the return if I came back to the location. I made the drive again based on those assurances. When I arrived, a helpful employee greeted me and escalated the issue appropriately. However, despite knowing I was there and despite being informed that corporate directed me back to the store, Manager Edwin left me waiting for approximately 30 minutes with little urgency or professionalism shown toward resolving the matter. This situation has been extremely frustrating and inconvenient. I have now made multiple lengthy trips due to misinformation and lack of communication between corporate support and store management. Additionally, the handling of this issue by Manager Edwin was dismissive, unprofessional, and unacceptable given the circumstances surrounding a clearly incorrect and potentially fraudulent shipment. At this point, I expect: * A full refund or proper replacement for the iPad I purchased * Immediate resolution without requiring additional unnecessary trips * A review of the handling of this situation at Store #319, particularly regarding management conduct and customer service because of Edwin. I have been patient throughout this process, but the experience has been unacceptable from start to finish.
