On Thursday, June 26th, I visited Best Buy as a loyal customer to pay off my store credit card. After making my payment, I decided to quickly browse the laptop section, as I’m currently in the market for a new one. The store was closing, so I was simply taking a few quick photos of the laptops to research reviews at home before making a purchase. At 9:07 PM, I took my last photo. As I was wrapping up, a manager approached me very abruptly and rudely told me the store was closed and that I needed to leave. I politely responded that I needed just one more moment and noted that there was still another customer shopping. The manager replied, “Yeah, but he’s buying something and you’re not ,GET OUT! “ and then immediately escalated the situation by threatening to call the police on me. I was shocked and upset by the way I was spoken to especially since I was calm, cooperative, and not causing any disruption. I’ve never been treated this way as a customer. I returned the next day to request the manager’s name so I could report the incident, but the staff refused to share it. But I later found it out through a friend the mangers name being Edwin. I have written statements that Mr Edwin is a nasty racist person who racially profiles customer and treats people with insensitivity absolutely disgusting and disappointing behavior from a store manger. This experience left me deeply disappointed and uncomfortable. I expect to be treated with basic respect and courtesy, especially as a loyal customer. I am not going to let this matter go unresolved and am looking into options to escalate it further.

Can in for a GoPro camera and when it rang up it rang a different price asked to speak to manager and he said oh someone put the wrong tag we can not honor it for someone’s mistake. Well make sure your employees are doing their job correct so this won’t happen again.
