I was supposed to have the floor models of a washer and dryer from this location delivered to my house the week after I purchased them. They were rescheduled twice because their distribution center never received them from the store for delivery. I went in to speak to a manager after the first time it was rescheduled and was assured by Christian Olive that they went out the Wednesday before and that he would call over the weekend to make sure they were processed for delivery the following weekend. He also said I would get $200 back for the inconvenience. After no follow up, I finally reached out to him and he said I must have “misunderstood” because he had no authority to refund money for the purchase. If you have no authority to begin with, don’t give specific dollar amounts and there won’t be a misunderstanding. He also never confirmed the distribution center processed the appliances for delivery like he said he would. He basically gave false promises so I would leave without returning my purchase and provided no actual help to rectify the situation. Customer service also couldn’t help so I ended up returning everything.
The only positive experience was from Kayla, the salesperson that helped me pick the right models for my needs. Everything after her, was garbage.
Confirmations of scheduled deliveries immediately followed by cancellation calls. An automated A.I. bot phone system that sends you to some random call center with no ability to help other than process returns. A manager with no authority to help that promises to do things he has no authority to do. I’m officially done with Best Buy.
I bought an opened but new HP laptop. Was assured by the young man I picked it up from that it was tested, factory reset and ready to go. Got it home, started the set up steps and couldn't get it to load the internet. After an hour of trouble shooting my IT cousin was able to diagnose that it had a missing or dysfunctional wifi adaptor. Since this Best buy was an hour away I took ot to one more local. They confirmed what my cousin said. I did pay for a set up instead of driving all the way back to this BB. So thie brand new laptop was not "ready to go" afterall.
Great displays, their stock can be lacking sometimes but we're in rough times so it makes sense.
