Best Buy Schaumburg

Picking up is confusing and guys in the back super slow and not prepared.

Got what I came for with very little wait (purchases online for store pickup). I picked up new cellphone that was already on "black friday sale". When I have more time, I'll actually go inside to see what they carry so I know for future reference.

Beware of strict return policy on items and avoid if you can buy elsewhere. Because of lack of staff education on the products, I hastily bought an item (Anker Power Station) without knowing it wouldnt work with most small camping appliances (200W limit on outlets). I did discuss my use cases with staff, and was also assured if it doesnt work I would have 30 days. Apparently the fine print is 15 days for " non premium best buy club members" Management made no effort to make right on my mislead purchase from "sure I think it will work" sales staff and did not take ownership of promises during the sale (30 days to try it) when I went to go use my item past the new strict window it would not work (it is a lesser model meant for only laptop charging) they also would not price match any retailers for a better product in stock / store credit. Needless to say I will never buy from Best Buy again, when I can have confidence as a consumer in buying things without in-depth product research. I can return to Amazon easily without jumping through any hoops, the "convenience" of buying an item locally in stock in a store like best buy is a facade as the chain has layered every excuse to not return or exchange an unsatisfactory purchase. Disappointed and feel stupid for shopping here and being made a fool. This situation could have easily been rectified by honoring the return of the unused power station but they chose not to, so I'll be sure to warn friends to not buy from Best Buy anymore.
