Avoid this Best Buy due to terrible manager who does not value customers. (NEVER BUY OPEN-BOX PRODUCTS FROM ANY BEST BUY). I bought an open-box item (advertised as "excellent condition") at a different Best Buy and made a special trip an hour away to pick it up. When I got home, I unboxed a completely unusable defective product that didn't even turn on. Instead of driving all the way back, I went to this Best Buy in Elgin to return it since the corporate call center informed me that returns are acceptable at all locations for online orders. I had to explain this to the manager--who was dishonestly trying to refuse the return. After admitting I was correct about the policy, he still refused to return the product after making a logically inconsistent excuse. Since he didn't want the headache of helping a customer, and didn't want to follow his company's policies, I used my personal time to return the product to the original store and then gave Amazon my thousands of dollars of business instead.
I always buy all my electronics here. I NEVER GET DISAPPOINTED.
Said on the Best Buy app that the 5090 would only be sold in store before they came out and went to get one and the switched to only online what a waste of time taking my business elsewhere
Every time I order curbside they take forever to come outside. I had one order with two items and the app only allowed me to curbside pickup for one item at a time which I’m not sure why, but when the guy finally came out to bring me my order I told him I had another order and he proceeds to degreet me. I’ve been waiting for 20 mins and I am forced to go inside because of how long they take. They are also so unorganized and it takes forever for them to help out. I used to work at a Best Buy for a couple of years and we were always quick. I am very disappointed this is the closest Best Buy to my house. Still waiting for my second order as I am typing this.
