Great service from Mac yesterday. What a star.
I have purchased several thousands of dollars worth of product from this store. I was also subscribed to their total membership program for the 179.99 and had both my wife’s and personal iPhone covered incase something happens.
About a year ago my wife broke her phone and I went in thinking it’s covered, the guy from geek squad said unfortunelty I didn’t go to extend the coverage for her phone because it was literally just over a year from purchase date at that store. I said I wasn’t aware I had to go and extend the coverage every year for the covered products I thought it’s something that’s automatically renewed on its own, I didn’t want to keep going back and forth so I just left and bought her a new phone from att.
A couple of days ago, I see a reoccurring charge of 179.99 on my credit card, I guess that didn’t have to be requested to be extended. I went in tonight because I felt like I was cheated, the supervisor Paul, after he agreed with me that that’s not right and it shouldn’t of happened, after making me wait about 20 minutes for a remedy. Comes back to me and says “ so boss is there something you want to buy or?”
I canceled my membership and can promise I will never set foot at that place again.
Thanks for nothing boss.
