I love this place! Lmao. As a techie who likes to stream, edit videos, write my work in various ways, Best Buy is like Christmas morning every time I walk in. Avon, IN has the NICEST store in comparison to my hometown BB of Norton Shores, MI. A+
Looking for a USB A to USB C adapter and they had it.
Extremely Disappointed with Best Buy’s Customer Service
I purchased a TV on sale through Amazon on October 8th for in-store pickup at Best Buy. I wasn’t able to pick it up until the 13th, so I called earlier that afternoon to confirm, and was told I had until close to get it. I drove 45 minutes to the store, only to have one of the employees verify my ID and tell me to pull up front while they brought the TV out.
After waiting 15 minutes, I noticed that same employee leaving for the day, and no one ever came out with my order. I went back inside after about 20 minutes and spoke with another worker, who had to get a manager involved. The manager then told me that they had made a mistake and sold my TV to someone else in person.
When I asked what could be done, the manager simply told me I’d have to cancel the order. They had another TV in stock that was basically the same model and price, yet he refused to honor the original deal or offer a comparable replacement. I wasted a lot of time, gas, and effort because of their mistake, and the lack of concern or willingness to make things right was very disappointing.
I won’t be shopping at this Best Buy again.
