Service and the knowledge of some of the salespeople can be disappointing. Better do your research on an item before going to Best Buy to get it.

I took my phone in for an appointment to get me battery replaced on 6/4/2025 I was greeted after a 10+ minute wait at the counter. They took my phone and payment and then a couple hours later I was called and told it was ready. I went and picked up my phone and everything looked good, even surprised they didn’t remove my screen protector (was happy it was still on there). About 6 days later I had a separation of my screen from housing. I tried to press it down but the screen would not stay so I scheduled another appointment and waited. Fast forward to 6/11/2025 I went in for my appointment and was told it would be 10 minutes for them to lift and replace the adhesive before relaying my screen. About 30-40 minutes went by and I finally get my phone back. The technician who worked on it brought it out and told the guy at the counter the wrong screw was in the wrong spot which was why my screen kept separating from the housing but he said he had also replaced it with the correct screw. The man behind the counter then turned to me and said “your phone is ready sir”. After he said so I went to the counter only to find out they had removed my screen protector for some reason when they didn’t need to the previous time?! When I asked for a replacement they denied and said they aren’t responsible. I then get my phone back and there are scratches on my screen. Multiple employees including management blatantly tried to talk amongst themselves in front of me saying things like “there was a screen protector on the phone when he brought it so the scratch could’ve been there already” or “I don’t see any scratches so I don’t know what he’s talking about”. I left with two new issues that are now unresolved, on top of the original issue that they caused with the display lifting. I highly recommend taking your device anywhere else if you value your money or want any respect from the staff. Worst experience I’ve ever had with Best Buy and I will not be back!
