I got scammed when I went and bought an open box phone from kankakee IL location that was pickup only. Was told phone was like new excellent condition. Was sold a display model with several defects but the largest being the imei is all 0's because it's a display phone. Asked for a manager and was told I'd have to wait for my refund and to eat shit because it was my fault for buying it by said manager. She then laughed at me in a mocking way so I left and swore off bestbuy as a company. The customer service associate assured me that management and corporate would not give a shit that I was scammed out of half a tank of gas and the money they want me to wait days to receive. Was sold a case to go along with said phone and since it's in the shipping process they won't refund that until it arrives and I will again have to wait for the refund to process. So weeks for that money to return. All because I trusted bestbuy as a company cared about it's customers. As the customer service associate with no name tag pointed out management and corporate don't give a crap about the customers they have wronged.
