Ordered a Viper remote car start from Best Buy. Went to schedule to have it installed and had to go thru hopes to get it scheduled which was 20 miles away since the one 5 miles away in Beavercreek is backed up 2 months. We arrive on time to the appointment, had to set up transportation but we got there 10 minutes early. Back door was locked. Went around front, ran into asking if we needed help. So he said he would go back and tell the installer we were there. He did not seem like he wanted us to follow him but we did. Now we have to pulled car back around to the back, again. We go in, the tech Rob Gonzo, asked us if we had a t-harness. Nope. He then got the MOD to credit us for that part as it was their fault. So we get that out of the way and then, after set up transportation, dealing with their useless scheduling system multiple time to get this installed out of town finally the tech Rob Gonzo tells us Viper is not what they used to be and continues to tell us just last week a customer could not get his doors unlocked and the key fobs would not do anything. HE suggested a different brand if it was him. That brand is not in stock. Number 1, I'm not installing something I bought from best buy for best buy to tell me it is not safe and expect problems. Ok spoke to JT at service desk. He explained yes sorry but this happens all the time and acted like we should just expect that. He said corporate is to blame because best buy will not let you speak to the installers to schedule. If they had been allowed to speak to customers ,the installer's may have advised us to not buy Viper products. Ok problem solved then. Best buy,,, you will never ever get one penny from me or my family ever again. I will let everyone know how bad best buy runs their show.

Just bought a new whirlpool side by side refrigerator with ice and water dispenser. They told me they offer delivery with installation. They offer delivery. The refrigerator arrived by rental truck today and the "installers" say they just plug it in. They refused to hook up the water line. They did not remove the packing tape. They didn't level out the doors. They cracked one of the shelves because they were too lazy or incompetent to remove the doors before coming through the front door. I think they should be up front and honest and let people know they only do delivery and will likely damage the appliances so people can make a more informed decision about their purchase. I have spent thousands of dollars with this store and have never dealt with such terrible delivery service and a total lack of installation ability. I may need to consider switching to Koons Home Center for my future appliances so I can get real service. Update, I see the owner responded with social media account information. I do not have or use social media. I did however seek resolution at the store with someone who identified himself as a manager. This proved to be a complete waste of my time as they played kick the can. Apparently service is not something that Best Buy is about. I guess the store takes no responsibility after the sale. I was hoping they would make arrangements for a replacement shelf because their delivery service cracked it but I was told I would have to contact a Best Buy customer service number or something myself. I even played the video of the careless delivery to the manager. I have decided when it's time for future appliances I will definitely be going to Koons Home Center in the future. Thanks for nothing Best Buy.
